Clarity for the Decisions Life Puts in Front of You
You work hard, earn income, support the people you care about, and try to make sound financial decisions along the way. But with living expenses, debt, retirement, insurance, education costs, taxes, and investing, it can be hard to know what to prioritize.
Founded in 2016, ClearVue Financial helps individuals and families make sense of the moving parts, understand their options, and move forward with practical financial guidance.

When Money Has a Lot of Moving Parts
Many households are not dealing with just one financial question. They are trying to balance several priorities at once.
You may be asking questions like:
Are we saving enough?
Should we pay down debt faster or invest more?
Are our retirement accounts invested appropriately?
Do we have the right insurance in place?
How do taxes affect the decisions we make?
Are we making progress, or just staying busy?
You do not need to have everything figured out before speaking with a financial planner. The planning process is often where clarity begins.
Start With a Financial Wellness Checkup
A Financial Wellness Checkup is designed to help you step back and view your financial picture with greater clarity.
This is not about judgment, perfection, or even having every answer before the conversation begins. It is about organizing the major pieces of your financial situation and identifying which decisions may deserve attention right away.
Meet Edward
Hello! I’m Edward Anderson, the founder of ClearVue Financial.
My hope is that good financial advice does more than give you an answer. It should help you understand your options, weigh trade-offs, and feel more confident about the decisions in front of you.
That is the spirit behind ClearVue Financial. Since entering financial services in 2008 and founding ClearVue in 2016, I have seen how personal these decisions can be. A question about investing may also involve taxes, family priorities, debt, retirement, or simply the desire to know whether you are moving in the right direction.
My work as a financial planner and university professor has shaped how I approach those conversations. I bring the technical background of a CFP® professional, Accredited Portfolio Management Advisor (APMA®), and Enrolled Agent, along with graduate study in personal financial planning and adult learning, and doctoral work in education. But the purpose is not to make the process more complicated. It is to make the conversation clearer, more practical, and more useful in your life.
At ClearVue, planning starts where you are and builds from there. It would be an honor to help you think through the decisions in front of you and identify the next steps that may be right for you.

Consulting Services
Most financial decisions are interconnected. ClearVue helps you step back, see how the pieces work together, and make practical choices in the areas that matter most.
-
Cash flow and debt often shape what is possible across all other areas of planning. We help you review income, spending, debt obligations, interest costs, and savings priorities so you can better understand where money is going and which adjustments may create more flexibility.
-
Investment decisions should align with your goals, timeline, risk tolerance, and broader financial picture. We help evaluate how your portfolio is positioned, whether your investments align with your needs, and which strategy may be appropriate moving forward.
-
Retirement planning is more than choosing an age or account balance. We help review income needs, savings progress, Social Security timing, employer plans, account withdrawals, taxes, and long-term sustainability to ensure the retirement conversation is grounded in realistic assumptions.
-
Taxes affect many financial decisions, even when tax preparation is not the primary concern. We help clients think through how taxes may influence investment decisions, retirement contributions and withdrawals, business income, charitable giving, education planning, and major life transitions.
-
Planning should account for risks that could disrupt a household’s progress. We help review life, disability, liability, long-term care, and other coverage considerations to determine whether protection aligns with income, family responsibilities, assets, and future goals.
-
Education planning often requires balancing a meaningful family goal with other priorities. We help review savings options, expected costs, timelines, financial aid considerations, and trade-offs so education funding fits within the broader financial plan.
-
Estate planning is not only about wealth transfer. It is about ensuring that important decisions, documents, beneficiaries, and account ownership align with your wishes and family circumstances. We help review the planning elements that may need coordination with your attorney, tax professional, or other advisors.
Planning That Connects the Pieces
Financial planning need not begin with a complex investment strategy. Often, the most useful conversations start by examining how income, spending, debt, protection, taxes, investments, and priorities work together.
Once those pieces are clearer, retirement goals, insurance needs, education funding, portfolio decisions, and longer-term planning can be evaluated in better context.
That connected approach helps keep the advice grounded in your actual life, not just your account balances.
