About ClearVue

Financial Advice Shaped by Practice and Education

ClearVue Financial was built on the belief that good financial advice should help you make better decisions, not simply hand you recommendations.

ClearVue’s founder, Edward, has worked in personal finance since 2008 and has operated an independent, fee-only financial planning practice since 2016. As a CFP® professional and Enrolled Agent, he provides financial planning, investment management, and tax services, allowing many of the decisions that affect your financial life to be considered together.

Edward also brings an educator’s perspective to the relationship. He holds master’s degrees in Personal Financial Planning and Education, with graduate study focused on adult learning. He teaches financial planning at the university level and is completing doctoral work in Curriculum & Instruction. That combination of professional practice and education shapes how he works with clients: explaining the reasoning, clarifying trade-offs, and helping make complex financial decisions easier to evaluate.

How ClearVue Financial Approaches Advice

Financial decisions rarely occur in isolation. A retirement decision may have tax implications. Education funding can affect retirement savings. Investment choices can influence cash flow and future taxes.

ClearVue takes a coordinated approach while keeping the work practical. Depending on your needs, that may mean addressing a specific question through a focused planning engagement or maintaining an ongoing relationship through Private Client Advisory.

The objective is not to complicate every financial decision. It is to give the decisions that matter the appropriate level of analysis, judgment, and attention.
